History:

The Crossett Riding Club was founded in 1948 at the old home site of Cap' Gates, one of the original founders of the city of Crossett.  

community support:

We are a 501C3 non-profit organization.  Through proceeds from the Crossett Riding Club PRCA Rodeo, Arkansas High School Rodeo, Arkansas Jr High School Rodeo, barrel races, and various other fund raisers, we are able to provide college scholarships to deserving local high school graduates.  We also help support community activities such as the Buddy Bass Tournament and Project Graduation through the Crossett Chamber of Commerce and other civic organizations.   We partnership with other local organizations as well, who receive proceeds resulting directly from our rodeo, such as local Christian schools, other Christian groups, local service organizations, and the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

The Crossett Riding Club PRCA Rodeo has been recognized as top five PRCA Medium Rodeo of the Year for 2012 and 2013.  Being recognized two years in a row is truly a great honor for us and increases our desire to put on a great rodeo for both the fans and the competitors.
